    I use Visio professionally for software design and am very fond of the UML plug-in that is part of the Professional edition of Visio, and of the template for specifying the Network that the software is part of.

    Visio, as most Microsoft products, is very user-friendly and the graphic layout is very easy to read – both on Screen and on Print.

Updates were automatically downloaded the next day. I like Visio and I have used it to create Architectural, Mechanical and Electrical drawings and plot them as a PDF. This is a great application software. Why can’t Auto Cad and Microstation make it this easy to create drawings? Of course, you can’t do all that the respected drawing software can do. However, this suits me fine.

    Visio is greating for diagramming and documenting floor plans, database/application/website design, among many other things. It features a rich library of objects to populate your documents with.
    I’ve used it at work for documenting job process flows, database design, and many other IT processes. At home I use it to document my home and yard, and use it to design carpentry projects. (While not designed for carpentry design, it works well enough IMO).

    I ended up getting Visio 2019 from one of these sellers, who was very helpful in answering my questions and helping me select the right version to work with Windows 10. That seller was Tristian’s. They were also extremely prompt in replying to my inquiry. The Visio installation worked great and I now have a properly licensed copy installed.

    So if you are NOT running Windows 10, do NOT try to install Visio 2019; you’ll need to get Visio 2016.

    We are using Viso to help flow out company processes. This software works great for that. We have also used the gantt charts, while Viso has very limited gantt chart capabilities they worked for our needs.
